This course is designed to help people find their voice, and learn how to advocate for their business and communicate well. I’m convinced that people who work in the disability sector are actually fantastic at pitching and sales, we just don’t realise it. Earning trust, suggesting healthy choices and encouraging people to make changes requires the same skillset.
I’ve had conversations with people who are so articulate about their jobs and their clients, but the second I ask them to tell me about their business, they get quiet, bashful or inarticulate. This sector instils humility, which is great, but it impacts our ability to promote our services, our philosophies and ourselves.
This course is for people who are already doing good work in the disability sector and are completely invisible.
I want to help you ‘find your voice’, but find the kind of voice yo’ll keep using and doesn’t make you cringe to hear.
Over the next 6 weeks you’re going to get clear on why you do what you do, build a professional brand that actually represents you, learn to tell your story, present with confidence, pitch like you mean it, and build the kind of presence that makes people seek you out.
Because you are good enough.
What to expect
- 6 modules dropping weekly
- Practical exercises every lesson (this is not a passive course)
- The makings of a professional brand and presence you’re actually proud of by week 6
A note before we start
This course will push you to put yourself out there. That’s uncomfortable for most people, especially in the disability sector where the culture tends to be humble, service-focused, heads-down.
That discomfort is the work. It’s the path ahead. Lean into it.
Let’s go.
